Description
Capinone is produced by acetylation of longifolene, a sesquiterpene obtained from pine oleoresin. The result is a rich woody amber material with real substantivity, used as a fixative and base note in compounding.
It suits formulators looking for a woody foundation that carries through the life of the fragrance in soap, detergent and incense applications.
