Pine Tar Oil
Destructive distillation product
Description
Pine Tar Oil is obtained by destructive distillation of pine wood, a quite different process from the steam distillation that yields turpentine. The result is a dark, heavy oil with a distinctive smoky character and a long history of industrial and veterinary use.
